High Resolution DSLR

There are so many DSLR out there in the market, so it’s really important to choose which one will be the best for fashion photography. It’s always hard between a Nikon and a Canon which one to choose from.

In fashion, you can choose either of any brand but keeping in mind to go for the professional camera ranging from 1lakh above in both the brand to get good quality fashion photos.

In Canon it’s recommended to gets hand on Either Canon 6D Mark III or the full-fledged Canon 5D Mark III. Both of these camera have excellent build and image quality as compared to other cameras in this brand.

In Nikon its Nikon D3X for the best result but it’s far too expensive for a new comer who is just starting in the field of fashion.

Flashlights

If you are shooting fashion portraits inside the studio it’s highly recommended to get the set of flash light with the umbrella and flash stands.

If you are working with Canon camera such as 5D Marks III its well said that Canon Speedlight is the flash you should go for as it’s a TTL flash which means its measures the setting according to the camera.  

For Nikon its recommended that you get a Nikon Flash for the work. It’s best to use the same brand product as long as it’s in budget and have a well use for it.

Reflectors

Reflectors are used to direct the sunlight or the artificial light towards the model. If you are working in an outdoor environment you might have a harsh light falling onto your model that will create a hard contrast and tone.

At that time reflectors comes in handy. A 5-in-one reflector can be used to bounce the light to the model rather than getting a direct light onto the model. Any Good Quality 5-in-one will do the work.
